Patient Forms (may be emailed to you before your appointment)
Upon entering our office, Sylvia or Alicia will welcome you and will request that you complete our new patient form and you will be asked to watch a 7 minute introduction video. This paperwork and video provides us with your health history and information on your condition and gives you an indication on what to expect from our clinic.
Examination
Next, you will have an examintion. Your initial visit is designed for Francois our Chiropractor to learn more about you, your condition, and expectations to determine how chiropractic care can meet your goals. Francois will perform a complete chiropractic examination testing your range of motion, flexibility and normally perform a photographic postural assessment. Other standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical tests will be performed as well according to need. However we do not normally treat on the first visit without analyzing your exam findings fully.
X-Ray Studies
Depending on your specific condition, we may also take X-rays. X-rays help us develop the most effective treatment plan for you, and alert us of any serious spinal conditions. Most people are amazed once they see their X-rays up close. In some cases, they can even identify their misalignments and degeneration themselves.

Recommendations
Once the information is collected and examinations are performed, Francois will give you a detailed report of all findings and answer any questions including:
How can you help me?
How often do I need to come in?
What will be the cost of my treatment?
Treatment (called Adjustment)
At the conclusion of this appointment, you can choose to experience your first adjustment (treatment). This may include spinal adjustments, specific postural active exercise or electronic muscle stimulation. Treatment is interactive, so you can express concerns about the different styles of treatment anytime.
