We set out some case studies below

I was told about Dr. Francois a chiropractor by my friend while we were playing golf and he noticed that I was favoring my right hip and shoulder. John said "you should have my chiropractor take a look at that for you as I am sure that he will be able to help". This began my first chiropractic experience. I know can play 18 holes without discomfort and I even had a golf weekend where we play 54 holes without any problems. My golf game has also imporved as I get more distance and don't slice (much) anymore as my folow through is much better. Many thanks Glen.

I have been attending Complete chiropractic for over a year now after suffering with migraines and headaches for years. I started to see a reduction in the severity and frequency with the first 2 months of attending. Now almost 14 months later I am pretty much headache free and totally migraine free. I will continue to attedn on a monthly wellness basis to maintain my good quality of life. Thank you for a new lease on life. Alison

My family has been attending Complete Chiropractic for over 6 years now and I have been attending for the past 5 years for tension in my jaw and TMJ. I am alot more adaptable now and only feel my jaw when I know I've overdone it. Thanks to the team for making it a nice experience everytime I'm there for my adjustments. Daniel

After being thrown off my seat by a bus driver going too fast round a roundabout and going straight to an A & E unit at the nearest hospital where I was checked over by a doctor, no X-Rays were done and a heavy dose of painkillers were given to me.

Barely able to walk a friend drove me to my GP's surgery and I was prescribed co proxamol - 2 tablets four times a day.  The full dosage left me feeling like a zombie and didn’t help with the muscle spasms I was having.  Until this accident happened the only health problems I had and still have is an underactive thyroid which has been well controlled for the last 23 years.  I missed not being able to go out on my bike or walk far and it’s a good job my husband and son are very patient and easy going.

I saw an advert in the local “Herts Advertiser” for a trial session at Complete Chiropractic and was immediately impressed with the care and thoroughness of the treatment I received and also for the first time I was given an X-Ray which showed where the damage was and also the fact that I had got a healed fracture towards the top of my spine.  My comment that I had probably done it falling out of a tree when I was a little girl (I am nearly 70 !) caused some amusement.

Four years later I seldom need to take any painkillers unless I have been overdoing the gardening or moving furniture!  I also find that I am holding myself better too and I no longer sit with one foot tucked under me, a habit I had had for at least 50 years!

Cycling and walking are back to being the pleasures they used to be.

My GP borrowed the X-Rays, I think he was impressed by the fact that Chiropractic was able to do them there and then and possibly a little envious.

Seeing the advert in the paper was the best thing that I have ever done and I would like to express my thanks to Dr Hacault and his staff.

had been diagnosed with "Cluster Migrainous Neuraglia" which meant I was getting very severe headaches every day.  The only treatment was Sumatripan injections which stopped the pain.

I believe these headaches started after a heavy fall on an ice packed mountain about three years ago.  The NHS gave me painkillers and I consulted with a Private Neurosurgeon who was very sympathetic.  The Sumatripan injections did help and I took as many as I was allowed but it was never enough.  I was thoroughly miserable and unable to participate in anything.

One of my friends recommended me to Complete Chiropractic and I took their advice and attended the clinic.  I've found the benefits, the headaches have been reduced to one minor headache a day so I don't need the injections anymore.  The curvature of my neck has been virtually restored to where it should be.

I'm now in much less pain and am much more enthusiastic for life!

I was suffering from stiffness in my neck and knees and I was unable to rotate my neck from side to side.  These problems had been a gradual onset over the years from poor posture and sporting related accidents.

I was also experiencing general aching of shoulders and upper torso and acute, sharp pains in my knees.  I also had feelings of fatigue and general discomfort.

On my first visit to see Francois I was impressed by the professionalism of everyone.  Francois's medical knowledge was reassuring and he didn't promise miracles but recommended slow progress and consistent monitoring.  I felt I could trust him.

I have now noticed less stiffness and aching in general.  I also have better neck movement and my knees are less acute.

I now have more energy, better posture and I am able to exercise more.  I am more aware of my posture and try to sit and stand more correctly which does help to relieve stiffness and aching in my neck, shoulders and back.  Overall I have found it to be very beneficial.

I had been experiencing neck, shoulder and arm pain for some time, partly due to my work as a medical secretary typing long reports and also the wear and tear because of my age so my GP referred me for physiotherapy.  After three courses of physio over a number of years which did give me some relief, my doctor suggested I saw a chiropractor as he did not feel physio could help me any longer.   Luckily Complete Chiropractic was advertising in the local newspaper so I booked an appointment.  My lifestyle had now changed as I had retired so I wanted to sort myself out.

On my first visit I learnt what "Complete Chiropractic" meant and that a lot of my problems related to the stress in my life, not just lack of exercise and poor posture.  I also had to make time for myself, which was quite difficult as I had had a stressful few years due to family problems.  During my course of chiropractics my father went into hospital and after 11 very stressful weeks he died.  My aches and pains seemed to move about my body but each visit to Complete Chiropractic gave me relief.  I enjoyed the visits and the feeling of wellbeing which I experienced after each visit.

I still have family problems, as I now have my elderly mother to care for but I have learnt to relax more and I go to aqua fit twice a week.  I have more movement in my neck and shoulders and am much more aware of my posture.
